And just as I really started thinking and preparing for the CATs in Kalamazoo, word comes that the show cluster has cancelled. Drats. Here’s what the checklist was looking like, as I figure out what I need to do to undo it.
Working my way down, first step is to let the judges know that the CATs are cancelled. The secretary and two of the judges already know. A text and email will take care of the other two judges.
Second is to let the AKC know that the events are cancelled, and the fees should be applied to CATs next May.
Last, I will send a quick reply to each exhibitor that emailed me recently, usually inquiring about the premium.
