Still sitting in holding pattern, waiting on the new premium from the show clubs for the Coursing Ability Tests in Kalamazoo, before getting serious about finishing our premium list for that event, which includes what measures we might take in regards to the pandemic. Ideally, our premium ought to be distributed in the next couple of weeks, so it will be time to ask for the show premium if it doesn’t make an appearance by mid-month.
In the meantime, I decided to make a smidge more progress on the premium for the Region 6 Invitational in October. I was updating the inserts, as you may recall, and the next one is the list of perpetual trophies. LARK hosted the invitational last year, and have a copy of their premium, so I will use that to update the language from our 2014 premium. Good time as any to update all of the 2014 references to 2020, lest they get past everyone’s review later.
The catalog, donations, and worksheet are the last few things in the inserts. Ideas on the catalog have been kicking around in my head for a couple of weeks now, which affects what should be mentioned in the premium. I just haven’t settled on the winner yet, so we’ll let that pot simmer for now.
